Branding & Illustration Libraries

At FMG in particular, I’ve had to oversee the design, development, and implementation of multiple brands for Learning and Development materials.

The two brands that I’m most proud of are the generic Learning @ FMG brand guidelines which is used for all learning content that does not sit within a specific internal brand or project.

The most exciting part of introducing these brand guidelines to the L&D team is that a significant portion of the brand focuses on solid accessibility and usability standards for their digital modules, standards that hadn’t necessarily been included up until recently.

I’ve also been responsible for designing, implementing, and owning the Wellbeing + Safety brand, which is the overarching brand for all health and safety material for FMG.

For this brand, I emphasized colour psychology but also have made a point of injecting humour into the suite of learning modules to create engaging content on what is traditionally considered purely compliance-based and often dry content.

You can read more about the Wellbeing + Safety modules and the impact the refreshed brand and learning standards have had here.

Setting up branding has also meant making sure assets are easy to track down and use for designers and developers in the L&D team.
