This particular module is my favourite learning solution that I have designed and developed in recent years.
The challenge was to take IT and cyber security-based concepts such as PITM attacks, phishing, and other common hacking techniques and make the information easy for learners to understand so they could in turn give advice to clients on upping their own cyber security. The target audience for the module were not necessarily the most technically inclined audience, so it was a fun challenge to make the content easy to understand (without getting caught up in technical detail).
I engaged the audience by creating a slightly gamified solution in which learners are black hat hackers who are trying to steal FMG’s clients’ information. They then had to work through various scenarios in which they hack fictitious accounts and steal money and information.
