The field I am most passionate about working in is UX and UI design. Over the last year, I have had the opportunity to gain more experience doing both. Below are some examples of the interfaces I have designed.
This was an interface design for a mobile app for people living with asthma. The app was designed to help the user keep track of their medicine usage, when they need to pick up a script, or when they would be due to check in with their GP. The app also included an emergency screen that could be easily accessed from the lock screen in the event of a severe asthma attack, allowing paramedics to view the user’s medications and dosage.
Above is a screenshot of the CourseFinder tool. The user answers a series of questions which define which internal qualification needs to be completed before work on a section of the power grid can go ahead. It is essentially a pick-a-path for compliance. I was given a complex flowchart which was too big for users to follow and from that I wireframed and laid out the pick-a-path that would eventually become the screenshot above.
